Ababil

We are the change we're waiting for.

we are a movement—

Ababil isn't a club. It's not an organization with membership cards or hierarchies. Ababil is an algerian movement — and it belongs to everyone who shares our vision.

—we are united

We are united by one belief: one positive action speaks louder than a thousand words. We're building hope through tangible change, one mission at a time.

& we are not alone

Change takes time. Time requires hope. And hope spreads when we show each other that we are not alone in this fight for a better tomorrow. We are not alone. But even if we were few, our impact can still bring change — after all, how many small groups have triumphed over the many by the permission of Allah?

how to become an ababil

in two simple steps

Step one — choose your mission.

Pick any project — solo or with friends. Any wholesome act that restores faith in humanity :• Clean a beach, park, or neighborhood;
• Visit patients in hospitals;
• Collect supplies for those in need;
• Repaint a public space;
• Participate in a demonstration;
• Plant trees;
And more!
Already volunteering in another organization? You can still share your mission under #al_ababil (but don't forget the mask! )

Step two — document & share.

• Complete your mission.
• If you plan on making your face appear in the photo, cover it with a black surgical mask (or any neutral-colored fabric) to preserve your anonymity.
• Take a photo (before and after shots encouraged).
• Share on social media with #al_ababil

why spread the word ?

Every photo you share with #al_ababil becomes a beacon:✓ It proves someone, somewhere, is making a difference
✓ It inspires others to join
✓ It builds momentum toward collective change

why the mask ?

It is to highlight our actions.The mask isn't about hiding — it's about redirecting the focus from who we are to what we accomplish. We’re not building personal brands; we’re cultivating a movement where the mission matters more than the face behind it.When you see an Ababil mask, you don't see an individual, you see a collective that inspires hope.
